Creating and Updating Tags 🔗

Key Steps

Step 1: Access Requirements 0:00

  • Ensure you are logged in as an access manager admin.
  • Confirm that you have the necessary permissions to create or update tags.

Step 2: Creating a New Tag 0:30

  • Click on the blue 'Create' button.
  • Enter the name of the tag in the provided field.
  • Assign subscribers by typing their email or name and clicking the plus sign (+).
  • To remove a subscriber, click the minus sign (-).
  • Step 3: Saving the New Tag 1:15
    • Click 'Save' to create the tag.
    • The tag will now exist in the system.

  • Note: Tags cannot be deleted; they can only be active or inactive.

Step 4: Updating an Existing Tag 1:20

  • To update a tag, click on the 'Update' button next to the tag you wish to modify.
  • You can change the name of the tag, make it inactive, or add/remove subscribers.

Step 5: Adding a New Subscriber 1:40

  • To add a new subscriber, type their name or email and click the plus sign (+).
  • Ensure that all intended subscribers are listed to receive notifications.

Step 6: Saving Updates 1:49

  • Click 'Save' to apply the changes to the tag.

Step 7: Filtering Tags 2:05

  • You can filter tags by their state (active or inactive) to view all active or inactive tags.

Cautionary Notes

  • Tags cannot be deleted; they can only be marked as inactive.
  • Ensure that you have the correct permissions before attempting to create or update tags

  • Please review and update your tags regularly to keep them current and relevant.
  • Use clear and descriptive names for tags to avoid confusion.
  • Please keep the subscriber list up to date to ensure subscribers receive notifications.
