Accessing Dashboards in Canvas
Key Steps
Step 1: Access the Admin Shield 0:01
- Locate the admin shield icon on the far left side of your screen, under the Account section.
- Click on the admin shield to proceed.
Step 2: Select Your School 0:12
- After clicking the admin shield, you will see a list of options.
- Click on the name of your school to continue.
Step 3: Navigate to Dropout Detective or Grade Guardian 0:25
- Once you are in the school section, look for Dropout Detective or Grade Guardian.
- Click on the appropriate option to access your dashboard.
Step 4: Access Your Dashboard 0:44
- You will now see your dashboard.
- If you have multiple dashboards, your default view will show all students across these dashboards.
- Use the drop-down menu to filter and view individual dashboards you are a part of.

- Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access the admin shield and dashboards.
