Teaching Assistants (TAs)-Roles in Canvas

If your school uses Canvas LMS, some courses might have users enrolled in them as Teaching Assistants or TAs. These users will have access to Dropout Detective/Grade Guardian by default.

In addition, any course role that is based on the TA or Teacher role will also be given access to Dropout Detective/Grade Guardian.

If you would like to create a new course role that will not have access to Dropout Detective/Grade Guardian, please create it so that it is based on the Observer role.
